About Planetworks

Planetworks is a dynamic collective of engineers and IT technology consultants that deliver IT expertise to both public and private sector clients.

Our mission is to provide the best information system and communication network planning, engineering, and integration. Since our inception in 1998, we’ve engaged in 500+ projects in over 50 countries—solidifying our reputation as providers of innovative and cost-effective solutions to the most complex IT challenges.

We understand the challenges and implications of evolving global networks and technology, and offer expertise across a wide range of wireless and IT technologies. We are nimble enough to be agile and responsive, yet large enough to tackle substantial projects for the long-term.

We help clients achieve results using high level operational and financial strategies, right down to the nitty gritty economic and technical planning necessary to manage, implement, operate, and sustain public and private networks and information systems.

Environmental sustainability is one part of our commitment to social responsibility values. As a good corporate citizen, we are committed to values of ethical behavior, safety, protection of property, and environmental stewardship at home and in every project that we engage in.

Social Engagement

We encourage all our consultants to contribute to the creation of a clean and sustainable environment, today and for future generations. As part of our collective efforts, Planetworks proudly participates every year in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup initiative.

Through our individual involvement with provincial engineering associations, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Engineers without Borders Canada, and other organizations, we are actively engaged in knowledge sharing, mentoring, peer support, and professional development.

A few members of the Planetworks team and guests joined the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup at Heywood Park in North Vancouver, BC. The group removed over 75 pounds of debris and litter to help make a positive change in the community!
