Jim is an engineer with 45+ years of experience in the design and implementation of telecommunications systems and leadership of engineers, technologists and support staff.
Some of his representative work includes the design and implementation of local and province-wide VHF and UHF mobile radio networks, heavy route backbone microwave radio, cellular telephone networks, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wide area wireless data networks, office telephone systems and video conferencing.
He has delivered diverse services including needs assessment, forecasting, design, cost estimating, specifications, procurement, implementation, acceptance and supervision of maintenance, and SC6 assessment and testing. He also has extensive experience licensing microwave and LMR systems across Canada using the new Industry, Science and Economic Development on-line licensing system.

- Jim holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the University of Alberta.
